what a week so far....and it is only Wednesday!

well, this week has NOT been boring for sure! WOW!

I kicked it off on Monday waking up feeling cruddy. That did not stop me. I just got out of bed and went forward. Started the day pretty normal. Then came the dentist appointments.

My daughters had their 6 month cleaning. no big deal right? WRONG! We get there, things appear to be going along just fine. The kids are playing with the toys in the waiting room very nicely. I think to myself, this is not too bad. The kids are in a great mood! The lady comes out to take one of them back to the chair. NOOOOO they take both of them back at the same time. I got a little nervous, but the lady said "no biggie, we take siblings back together a lot." OK, I tried to warn her but nope! I am sitting there reading my facebook on my phone.....and then.....

I hear a screaming child and running footsteps. I look around the waiting room....it is filled with 60+ year old people. CRAP! That is my child making the noise! I then look at the door and sure enough here runs Hannah......MOOOOOOOOOOOM! I am asked to come back with her. No problem. She said she was a little scared and wanted mom there. Ok! Nothing too serious. WRONG AGAIN! I get back there and she starts screaming at the top of her lungs! I DON'T WANT THEM TO LOOK AT MY TEETH! over and over and over. We are all trying to soothe her and calm her down.....it gets worse. She even headed for the door.....saying I am just going home.

Now you would think this was the first time she had been to the dentist. Nope! She loved the dentist the last time we were here. She talked about it for days after we were her last time. Talked about all the way there how cool the dentist is.....blah blah blah.....she changed her mind!

I give her two options. Sit in the chair like a big girl. OR she sits on my lap and we will hold her down. She did not want either option! 1....2.....3.......I snagged her up and on my lap she was. Not happy about it but she was there. The chair goes down and there we lay....me holding her arms in a bear hug and a nurse holding her legs so she would stop kicking me. We did not have a problem with her opening her mouth.....since she was screaming. THAT my friends is a the true meaning to KICKING AND SCREAMING!

I felt bad for her but at the same time I could not figure out why she all of a sudden changed her mind about the dentist? Literally in a 5 minute span of time!

OK, now on to Tuesday.....
Start the day feeling like crud again (i have a cold that won't quit).....no biggie....get in the shower and start my day. I drop the kids off at daycare.....head to work and Clay heads to an eye appointment. All normal! Then 10:30 the school decides to let out early due to the weather. No big deal. Until I get the call from school that I am to pick up my nieces too. CRAP I have the Truck! I can't haul all the girls in the truck. what to do.....ok no biggie...made some calls got it all figured out. Good to go. NOPE! Clay calls. Since his eye dr visit his eye is bothering him. He can't opening with out it hurting and it is all swollen. I call and make him an appointment at the dr here is town....since the roads look iffy. Make arrangements for 4 little girls.

And there we sit in the waiting room. He thinks there is something in there. I tell him if there was something in there the dr should have seen it this morning. We wait and wait and wait. Finally we go in to the little room. Come to find out his eye is scratched. They are assuming that it has to do with the new contacts and somehow they scratched his cornea! wonderful! now he has drops to put in his eye 4 times a day so he does not get an infection.

so...that was the start of my week........i am just wondering what this day will bring! lol

Happy (no drama) Wednesday!

******update*****
well, the no drama day.....did not last long! The daycare lady called. Her son is going to the dr today.....CHICKEN POX! wonderful! Now you would think no biggie.....but, I told her not to worry my kids have had the vaccine. She then informs me.....so has he! WHAT?! wonderful! So, now we sit and wait to see if the girls get spots. lol I guess if they do get them it really is no big deal.BUT.....one Mr Clay......has NOT had them yet. So, I will be watching him too!

off to do "spot duty".......
